Enjoying food is a sacred gameday ritual, but the Collegiate Cook is taking this tradition one step further and paying it forward. Collegiate Cook: USF Gameday Recipes is a cookbook for South Florida Bulls fans, but it's a concept that goes beyond just recipes. For every copy sold, 25% of the proceeds benefit student scholarships at USF. This is what The Style Ref calls a win-win!
The book was written and photographed by two USF alumni, Nathan and Candace Davison, as a way to share their love for USF and repay the generosity of others who made it possible for them to get college degrees. Besides a collection of very tasty recipes, the cookbook includes USF trivia and a section called, "A Taste of Gameday: A Look Inside Football Culture at USF." They also want USF fans to share their gameday photos using #HowBullsTailgate for a chance to get featured on their website.
