On Location: Universal CityWalk's Hot Dog Hall of Fame
For baseball fans who want a hot dog real bad (sorry, I couldn't resist working in a Legally Blonde reference!), Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal CityWalk Orlando is calling your name. Besides being one of my favorite sports foods, I love how different parts of the country dress up their dogs in all kinds of flavorful ways. Detroit keeps it real with chili and onions, New York sticks to the basics with sauerkraut and mustard, and Chicago likes it on a poppy seed bun — absolutely no ketchup.
If you're craving a tasty twist on baseball's finest delicacy, the Hot Dog Hall of Fame has all these fan favorite recipes and more. I had to try this place myself, so I invited my friend and Miami Marlins fan Annie (who also blogs at Annie A to Z). We loved the fun bleacher-style seating and huge TVs playing baseball games (what else?!) as well as the impressive menu. After much deliberation, I decided on the Kansas City (Vienna® all-beef dog, pulled pork, coleslaw, pickles, barbecue sauce) and Annie chose the Washington (Hebrew National® dog, buffalo sauce, coleslaw, blue cheese dressing, celery salt). They were delicious and paired well with a refreshing Miller Lite. I'll definitely be back to try out all the other hot dogs on the menu!
If you're in Orlando, be sure to check out the Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal CityWalk Orlando! If you've been here, too, leave me a comment and tell me which hot dog you tried.
XO,
The Style Ref
